Trendy Hip Buys was founded in 2008 on Ebay when the recession hits. I was working in Post Sound Production in Hollywood then and had to switch jobs and reinvent myself. I started selling vintage clothing to make ends meet since I've always loved vintage everything. From old vinyls, Elvis, The Beatles, 50s sundresses, mod 60s dresses, hippie 70s era polyester shirts to the new wave 80s music. Hence, you will find my clothing style that I designed in my store being influenced by those eras. In 2012, I have moved my store to etsy and now decided to have my own .com (Officially open on Friday Oct the 13th 2023) due to the recent unfair practices by etsy. 

It was only in 2020 that I started designing my own vintage inspired clothing and accessories since most vintage shops were closed down. Most of my items are handmade, made to order from my overseas factories because of the printing techniques they have there. Some are made right here in USA factories.

Also, I have decided to sell some unique home decor items, fashion accessories as well which are handpicked by me to go with my clothing designs in my store that I designed.

More over, soon, there will be more original art in painting prints and photographic prints for sale created by me as well! I hope you enjoy my collections. I appreciate your kind support as all the proceeds goes directly to help my family and other artistic endeavors.

1. How long does it take to manufacture, before shipping the item?

We usually process our orders the same day or next business day if it falls on the weekend. Most items are made to order so it takes about 3-5 days for the sewing and another 2 business days for Quality Control to complete. Some items are already made and will be shipped out in 2-3 business days.

2. What is your Shipping time?

Depending on the factories, if made in USA, items will reach you within 7-10 business days. If it is shipped from our overseas factories, it could take anywhere from 14-22 business days to reach you. 

3. Do you have expedite shipping service? 

We do have expedite service on certain items and some locations, please inquire. 

4. Do you ship internationally?

No, all sales are final since most are made to order, please see the sizing chart before you buy. Do not assume the size you wear is normally the size to get. Please look at the measurements before buying. Should we send you a wrong size, we can send you a new one provided you email us with photo proofs after 3 days after receiving the item, with tape measure photos placed against the item. We will also take responsibility for wrong items sent. Please send us photos, we can send you the correct item. No need to return antything to us.
